What is PayYaar?
PayYaar is a free smart expense tracker and bill split app for Android. It helps you track personal spending, split group expenses, chat with PayYaar AI for plans and everyday money tasks, settle with UPI helpers, and earn partner cashback as in-app pcoin.
Is PayYaar a payment app or wallet?
No. PayYaar is a bookkeeping and rewards discovery tool. It does not hold money, process UPI payments itself, or act as a bank. Settlements open in your existing UPI app, and pcoin is an in-app rewards unit — not withdrawable cash.
What can PayYaar AI Chat do?
PayYaar AI Chat helps you plan budgets for any group template, add expenses from chat, and ask price or spend questions. You always review and confirm before anything is saved. Browse Offers and Coupons, or pay India bills and recharges, from their own tabs in the app.
How does smart expense capture work?
You can type, speak, scan a receipt, or share text into PayYaar. AI suggests expense fields for you to review. Nothing is saved until you confirm. On Android, optional SMS expense alerts can also suggest bank debit expenses from notification access.
What is Item detection?
Item detection lets you photograph shopping items — produce, groceries, clothing, electronics, and more. PayYaar identifies them and estimates local unit market prices near you. You review quantity and rate, then add the items as expenses. Prices are estimates, not scanned tags.
How do offers and pcoin cashback work?
Shop through tracked partner offer links in the app. When a purchase is confirmed by the affiliate partner, a share of commission may be credited as pcoin. Spend pcoin to unlock coupon codes or continue using metered features after free limits.
Is PayYaar free? Is there a Pro plan?
Yes — PayYaar is free to start with monthly limits on features like smart capture, Item detection, PayYaar AI plan generations, and reminders. PayYaar Pro unlocks higher limits and other benefits shown in the app. Billing is handled through Google Play.
